The MOTOR Pedal monophonically tracks and analyzes your signal output in real-time. Whatever you're using with the MOTOR Pedal, a guitar, bass, or microphone, the pedal will match the motor's rotational speed to the fundamental frequency you're playing. For example, to match a 440Hz input, the motor will rotate at 146 revolutions per second, activating the magnetic pickup and sensors three times per rotation. This spinning motor pairs with a carefully calibrated inductor captures the real-world motion of the motor's spinning coils, transforming its mechanical energy into a raw, electric audio signal.

With this Gamechanger creation, we're treated to a number of different effect modes that create exciting, new tonal palettes. These modes include a Coil Mode, where an alternating current is injected into the motor's coils to create resonant analog vibrations and metallic hums, and a Vocoder Mode created by a 24-band digital vocoder that uses the motor's output as the carrier and your instrument's signal as the modulator. The different modes are then shaped through different vibrato, modulation, and drive controls and the onboard spring-loaded foot pedal that enables on-the-fly control over brake, clutch, volume swells, and drift. Onboard MIDI input connection allows for MIDI functionality and control alongside a USB-C connection for future firmware updates.
